Vintage Tin, Vintage Carr's Biscuit Tin, Wedgwood Style Floral Arrangement
 
 
 
 
This kitsch oval biscuit tin is perfect for storing old love letters, stamps, or even (with a little imagination) biscuits.
 
Measuring 29cm (11.4") by 18.5cm (7.3") by 6.5cm (2.6") it shows assorted creams in a Wedgwood style urn next to flowers on the lid, whilst the sides are decorated with stylised figures, trees and peacocks.
 
The top is a light blue colour as is one section of the side, whilst the other parts of the side are a mauve/pale purple colour. Obviously, somewhere along the line the tin has been left in bright sunlight and faded, though whether from purple to blue or vice versa I'm not sure...
 
Other than that though it's in great condition with just a small amount of surface rust, a few light scratches and the odd small dent.
