These recipe cards are divided into the categories of Meals without meat, soups and pot-au-feu, cakes, petit fours and breads, alfresco and barbecue, buffet and one dish parties, speedy and simple, traditional dishes for festive occasions, oriental and rice dishes, fish and meat pates and cold meats, for your own recipes, cold desserts (no cards), salads and vegetables (no cards), hors d'oeuvres and savouries (incomplete), family meat dishes, party meat dishes, gateaux and flans, famous world dishes, hot desserts, fish and seafood, celebration menus, world drinks and appetisers, money-saving dishes, egg and cheese dishes and pasta, pancakes and continental dumplings.
 
The cards have a picture on the front and a recipe on the back.
 
Each section has a divider and the recipes are numbered. Each recipe has a picture of the flag of the country of origin.
 
The recipe cards measure 10.4cm (4.1”) x 11.7cm (4.6”).
 
They are printed in England and are copyright by The Hamlyn Publishing Group Ltd 1969.
 
There are 32 recipes in each category. The majority of the recipes are included. 
 
The cards are in good vintage condition. They have some minor folds, tears and markings. They are all readable. 
 
The recipe box measures 15cm (5.9”) x 22.5cm (8.9”).
