The Milward Dressmarker in original packaging.
This dressmarker provides a rapid means of marking pattern indications such as darts, pleats, fold lines, stitching lines, tucks, buttons positions etc on two pieces of material exactly coincident and in one operation.
The two arms are separated with the lower arm with marking disc beneath the underside of the lower material and the upper arm lying over the paper pattern.
The open aperture of the upper arm is directly above the marking disc so that marks with the chalk pencil made within this circle on the top cloth draws an exact impression from the disc on the lower cloth.
It is made in England. It has a Brit Pat No. 726613 and Union Pat No. 17520.
The arm measures 23.9cm (9.4") in length. The open aperture has a diameter of 2.8cm (1.1").
It is in good vintage condition.
There are three available for separate sale. The colour of the packaging is yellow, red or blue.
