Photography of the true colour of linen has difficulties associated with it. If you are seeking a particular colour send me a message attached to the linen item and I will endeavour to send you a reply with a photo of that item compared to a white piece of linen. 
 
All vintage linen may have knicks, small cuts, loose thread and missing stitches as well as fading and marking. The photography colour may vary slightly. 
 
 
 
Fabric Scone Holder, Bun Warmer
 
 

This scone or cupcake holder has separate pockets in which the hot scones or cupcakes are placed, carried to the table and presented for everybody to enjoy.
 
It has a diameter of 35cm (13.8") approximately.
 
It has machine embroidery flowers on the fabric and is in good vintage condition.
 
It has two strings that you pull to make the pockets form.
 
On quick count is has approximately 12 pockets for the scones.
 
 
 

I find the yellowing marks on vintage linen are kept to a minimum if you use distilled water in a lowered temperature ironing technique. Placing another piece of material over the item and ironing via that has also been put forth as another suggestion. 
 
I don't have any practical knowledge of the stitches and fibres of vintage linens. Please study the photos and make your decisions based on the photos and measurements provided. If you know what the stitches are feel free to send me a message with a link to the listing.
