Souvenir of Australia, Vaucluse House Souvenir Ashtray, Vaucluse, Sydney

The namesake of the inner Sydney suburb of Vaucluse, Vaucluse House was built in the early 1800s and was transferred to the Historic Houses Trust of NSW in 1981.

Though not quite as old as the house itself this ashtray could definitely date from the early days of the trust's ownership.

Measuring 8.5cm (3.3") in diameter and 2cm (0.8") high it's in perfect condition and doesn't appear to have ever been used.

Note - there are some reflection artefacts. The ashtray is silver metal colour other than the Vaucluse House part.
