Vintage Soehnle Dietitian and Letter scales, in original box
 
 
 
These scales are made primarily of plastic. 
 
They fold up when not in use. There are two red buttons that you press to open and close the unit.
 
Apparently, it can be mounted on the wall.
 
They have a special holding device for letters. The tray is removable.
 
It measures 13.3cm (5.2") x 9.7cm (3.8") with a thickness of 3.6cm (1.4") when folded up. When open it stands 13.3cm (5.2") tall. 
 
 They have  "non verify par l'etat" written on the display face.
 
They measure up to 250 grams in 2-gram increments.
 
The instructions are included. The box has vintage wear and tear.
 
The scales are in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. 
 
They are made in Switzerland.
 
They have a lovely retro look about them and would really complete that vintage kitchen look or stand alone as a shining example of past design excellence.
