Vintage Patons No. 906 Crochet for young cuties
 
 
Classic baby crochets from yesteryear.
 
Vintage pattern book consisting of 20 pages (including the covers) of crochet patterns and pictures.
 
It contains patterns for a baby jacket in treble stitch. with raglan sleeves, shell edging around every edge and ribbon tie at the neck. A cold weather cape and hood in treble stitch. The shoulders have tabs and the edges are finished in contrasting colour. A layette consisting of a dress, carrying coat, matinee jacket, bonnet and bootees. The coat has a patterned skirt with d.c yoke and sleeves. Picot edging finishes the collar and sleeve. The yoke is finished with ribbon trim. The dress is the same as the coat but with a back opening. The bonnet is in d.c. with ribbon tie. The bootees have ribbon tie at the ankles. A dress and jacket where the dress has a patterned skirt, double crochet yoke and raglan sleeves. The sleeves and neck are finished with shell edging. The matching jacket is crochet all over with pattern around the lower edge and sleeves. The front edges and neck are finished with shell edging. A jumper and jacket - the jacket has a patterned body with double crochet yoke and sleeves. The sleeves are raglan. all edges finished in shell stitch. The jumper is worked in the same stitch, with back opening. A dress worked in half trebles all over. The neck is round, sleeves are set-in. Contrast shell edging runs around yoke, hem and sleeves. Shoulder opening. A dress with double crochet yoke and set-in sleeves. Pram and cot covers with two-colour motifs. A contrasting colour is used for smaller motifs and shell edging.
