The plate measures 7.6cm (3 inches) in length and 2.2cm (0.9 inch) wide. The mortice measures 7.4cm (2.9") x 3.8cm (1.5").
The components move smoothly when a spindle is inserted and turned.
The make is unknown.
It is in good vintage condition with surface markings befitting its vintage heritage.
